Creating tenant with renamed "Administrator"?
Hey, I am trying to create tenants/organizations in Exchange 2010 with the following: New-Organization -Name "APCHosting" -DomainName "singaporehosting.asia" -Location "en-us" -ProgramId "Business" -OfferId "2" -AdministratorPassword $Password But it seems like any new organization I have created, it will be named "Administrator" by I run Get-MailboxDatabase "Mailbox Database 1" | Get-Mailbox to get the total list of mailbox. Example, it will show the following: Name Alias ServerName ProhibitSendQuota ---- ----- ---------- ----------------- Administrator Administrator win-nn9cmhpsfns unlimited DiscoverySearchMailbox... DiscoverySearchMa... win-nn9cmhpsfns 50 GB (53,687,091,200 bytes) Administrator Administrator win-nn9cmhpsfns 972.8 MB (1,020,055,552 bytes) DiscoverySearchMailbox... DiscoverySearchMa... win-nn9cmhpsfns 50 GB (53,687,091,200 bytes) Administrator Administrator win-nn9cmhpsfns 972.8 MB (1,020,055,552 bytes) DiscoverySearchMailbox... DiscoverySearchMa... win-nn9cmhpsfns 50 GB (53,687,091,200 bytes) Administrator Administrator win-nn9cmhpsfns 972.8 MB (1,020,055,552 bytes) DiscoverySearchMailbox... DiscoverySearchMa... win-nn9cmhpsfns 50 GB (53,687,091,200 bytes) Which is very confusing for me as I do not know which mailbox belows to which tenant. Any advise on how I can improve this situation? Or to create tenants with renamed "Administrator" for clarity?Jackson Yap APC Hosting http://www.apc.sg/

Hi Jackson, Per my research, I think there is no way to rename “administrator”. If you supply the administrator password by supplying –AdministratorPassword when creating a new organization, it will automatically create an administrator account. Just as the article mentions. So it is by design. Best regards, SerenaPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
